Cleaning your rental Accommodation

We’ll give you more information about now to deep clean the apartment to have it ready to return to us towards the end of the season (which is a much smaller job if you have stayed on top of it all winter).

Leaving your accommodation:
To get your deposit back at the end of the season, you will need to leave the apartments as clean as you found them. Here is a checklist to help:
Please let us know if anything is broken or damaged, then we can get it fixed before the next people move in and make sure it’s good for next season!
Cleaning the Kitchen:
- Clean the refrigerator, oven, and extractor fan to remove grease and food residue.
- Pull the glass shelves and plastic bins out of the refrigerator and clean with soapy water, or if you have space, run them through the dishwasher for a thorough cleaning.
- Defrost freezer.
- Use oven cleaner to remove any baked-on food inside the oven. The best way is to spray oven cleaner on and leave it for 12 – 24hrs to work… then the over will clean more easily.
- Wipe down all cabinets and drawers. You may also want to vacuum dust and dirt from the cabinet interiors.
- Vacuum or sweep and mop floors to remove dirt and stains.
- Clean the sink and dishwasher to remove soap scum and food particles. Don’t forget to clean the dishwasher filter.
- Empty fridge, freezer and all cabinets – do not leave any food, throw it all out.
