The resort worker lessons went really well. Some brilliant feedback from very grateful locals.
Also the brochure drops. Thanks to those of you that got involved. It’s super important for the school as it generates more work for all of us.
Peak weeks incoming
Expect more busier pistes over the next few weeks, careful how we stand in groups at meeting points and manage groups skiing etc.
Also, expect busy buses and queues for some lifts. Plan accordingly. “Didn’t know there’d be a queue” is not an excuse for not being on time.
Watch out up there
It’s busy, cray folk, should you gather their deets if there’s a crash that’s not an accident?
Resort Orientation
For those that had a good go at the questions and selfies etc, we hope you feel more prepared for finding your way round and guiding etc. If you didn’t have a good go at it, you can still get the pics info and submit again when you have time off. Or we can definitely put on an ‘orientation session’ in training. Then we’ll feel more confident giving you full day lessons and guiding work.
Training / Spond
We put up the training blocks last week and they filled up quick! If you’re keen but see them full already, hit the ‘join waiting list’ button so we know there’s demand. We can look at maybe making two groups or other dates etc.

Yesterday, we had a group lesson with Mike, and he really went above and beyond to make our first time skiing such a great experience.
He’s super knowledgeable, patient, and easy to talk to. He explained everything in a way that made it easy to understand, and his encouragement kept us motivated the whole time. Mike made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable, no matter their skill level, and you could tell he genuinely cared about helping us improve.

Rob and Jake gave such exceptional tuition which gave such an exponential improvement in skiing in such a short period of time. These guys not only are spectacular skiers in their own right but have the unique ability to communicate how to achieve significant improvements in performance. They also provide guides on how to continue to improve with specific drills and points to aim for. Thank you so much guys for helping gain a significant leap towards our own skiing goals.

Emily took my children out for 2 epic days of skiing in Zermatt and Cervinia. They had an absolutely fabulous time! Emily was not only a great ski coach but also entertained the kids with the history of the resorts and all sorts of fun facts. It’s our fourth time in Zermatt and fourth time skiing with Summit. I cannot recommend them more highly – 6 stars!
